Just wondering as I've never seen that around here.On the outside you would use 1x2 furring strips and then attach the siding to that.

Two jacked alternatives: 1.Remove the ceiling finishes and apply a corrugated metal ceiling on the ceiling side of the joists and fur so that slopes to drainage 2.

Or are you into the suburban sprawl (fur sure).I agree with Wheatie that you need to come out and spend a week or two looking around.

Bathing ferrets should not be done too frequently because they will produce more oil in their fur to compensate for the stripping of their oils.

An alternative would be to attach furring strips and hang regular drywall over the wall then finish it as needed.

Also, all your door and window frames need to be furred out because the walls are now thicker than their respective frames.
