I just remember watching those shows where there are billion dollar plus developments built in china sitting empty.and Last time I was in Singapore we scooted over to Maylasia and you should have seen all the high rises there basically 1/4 sold or mainly empty ..

Once I was in Singapore on an important business trip, thought I'll be back by months end, trip got extended, and my landlord posted a notice on my apartment door saying rent is past due.I had an NOO mortgage on a property, reading through it's provisions, the mortgage does not allow me to collect more than 3 months rent in advance.

I have been saving up and building my credit with hopes of making purchases after prices begin bottom according to my own thesis on what I expect to play out in the global economy over the next several years.While I cannot speak on behalf of all RE markets far and wide, I think this thesis represents many major cities where Foreign RE was invested in heavily (Think LA, Seattle, Bay Area, New York, Vancouver, Toronto, Sydney, Melbourne, Singapore, London, and many many cities in Europe).
