@Wayne Brooks  sounds like a massive implosion is about to happen to these boys.I would think the tenants would simply offer their rent to the court. and demand the fix's and or use their rent to do the fix's and offset rent.. big company has big liability this would be the one case I could see an aggressive lawyer taking them on   on a contingency and going for a big reward.

In short, these corporate managers actions (sneeringly termed 'fiduciary responsibility' by the best and brightest college graduates as they eschewed/abandoned law and medicine as the places where the best money was to be made) drove the invention of the myriad of weird financial 'products' that were the stuff of the implosion.

I was with a GREAT brokerage, fantastic owners and very smart brokers, we saw the entire implosion coming a mile away and it was 100% out of the hand of mortgage originators, it was "above our pay grade".

Loan originators also tend to have higher incidences of stress-induced life implosions, a lot of times they go become Realtors due to the lower stress level (3 or 4 of my Realtor partners are former LOs).

Hello All.I think it's safe to say that by pushing banks to make ridiculous mortgage loans leading up to the "implosion", and promising to back these loans (with dollars it did not have) in the case of default, was a substantial contributor to the bubble build-up.
