Am I allowed to Demo a house without a contractor?
I understand that you need a demolition permit to demo a house, but once you have that, are you allowed to demo a house on your own with whatever hired help you deem fit, or are you forced to hire a contractor to do it? I realize that rules are different everywhere, but in general what is the norm?
