I would really like to interview 2 or 3 different firms to get someone that really lines up with me and my goals 

According to Netronline, the first has initiated FC (in April) but now, according to court info the case is "on hold for loss mitigation"  I contacted the attorney of the first lien holder and she was no longer with that firm. 

Mortgage companies was a great idea, property management firms, apartment complexes, even hotels.

The tenants need to know you are firm but fair.

As a RE  Agent you will be working as an Independent  Contractor and by TREC or  RE law no brokerage firm can fix  your hours or limit you to work under  certain conditions its  totally  depends upon you.However, if you are working with small boutique style brokerage  firms its  easy to work independently butt when you are working for big firms its better to go to office and get some real time experience they also have the option of giving bench time which allows you to  take walk in customers if any.

But stand firm on your desire to move them out, clean/renovate the unit, and start fresh.

I could have sworn that there was a firm in Vancouver that was doing flips and they were active on BiggerPockets.

okay so i had my first meeting with a Brokerage firm, although it went well and i knew what to ask and what not, something they told me i did not like.

Gotta find the best brokerage firm that can compliment and help with my investing strategies as I am still getting to know Detroit and the surrounding areas!
