One week is probably a good timeframe for what you're describing depending on the size of the rental though. 

Paying $300k for condo in a nice medium size condo complex.

I'm leaning toward demolition with intent to replace it with a structure about half that size but don't want to waste materials. 

I found one property so far that looks decent (2Br/4Br), but is somewhat awkwardly sized so I don't know how long the 4 BR would sit once we stop occupying.

I use the Lowe's blinds they have the sizes I need and are easy to find when I need to replace.

I’m still researching rental rates in the area, but for the size and quality I intend on bringing it up to....

Banks also look at your income, reserves, DTI (debt to income), Employment duration to name a few..

What size should my aisles be?

They will have a variety of questions they will ask you to isolate what you are thinking for finishes, size, number of units, etc. etc. but give them a call.

I might have need to utilize these funds for other reasons in the next year or 2 as well - if other investment opportunities arise, if we move into a bigger house, if I decide to go the self-employment/small business route.
