Hello everyone,I'm very new to the world of real estate investment, I'm really in my "embryonic stage" I guess you could say since I don't own a property yet.With that said though, I'm trying to keep my eyes peeled for areas with low vacancy rates.

Yeah, you can quitclaim it to some stranger but, that isn't going to work in the eyes of a lender.

What things should investors keep an eye out for?

I have had my eye on a property that is in disrepair and needs a LOT of work, clean out etc.  

Little did I know the people I thought were looking out for my best interest, would be the ones to paint me a beautiful picture of the perfect paradise, only to later find out they would be sending me right into the eye of the storm.
