How Can I Easily Find the Vacancy Rate of a Certain Area?

Hello everyone,

I'm very new to the world of real estate investment, I'm really in my "embryonic stage" I guess you could say since I don't own a property yet.

With that said though, I'm trying to keep my eyes peeled for areas with low vacancy rates. I figure that searching for an ideal vacancy rate is logically a pretty critical aspect for a rental REI, no?

The problem however is that I cannot find this information very easily, especially if I'm looking up a non-major city, and even then the information is not up to date. Is there any website I can go to that provides clear-cut, up to date vacancy rates?

There are ways to collect over 100% of rents and get paid extra.  Pursue evicted tenants in civil court and garnish wages. Always charge a late fee, never wave it.  $200 pet fee, $25 per month per pet. Charge back legal fees. Take a paypal payment for those floating rent on a credit card (Charge fees).  Sell an option to buy.
