Based off of the responses here, this increase does seem aligned with other insurance providers.I like the idea of raising the deductible, but will have to think more about lowering the replacement value. 

It feels like im running into the catch-22 of needing experience to gain experience.If anyone has any tips for how i can get break my way into this business I'm open to any and all guidance that you all may have.

The model worked well for about 6 months and so on but went south after the strike and there were lot of cancellations and schedule changes so he eventually decided to terminate his lease.

Now, in areas where a majority of the sfr's are vacation/str's the considerations are different.These comments are in response to some of the other posts.

Appreciate the responses, there's a different opinion I'd love to hear it but sounds like there's just better ways to make money and buy property.

It does not mean you are required to have central heat and air it would be of the many of the other options such as... other heating with thermostat.Great to know-- I appreciate your response!
