Hi All, I am a Canadian - recently I have been doing a fair bit of research on investing in an American real-estate syndicate through a LLC.It seems like a good place to put some capital for a passive return, however, the tax implications on investing cross-border are very vague and at times, confusing - many articles I read on the tax laws state that there may be a “double-taxation” situation for Canadians on any income produced through an American LLC.

I have a 3rd party policy through American Family for a rehab I'm working on, my personal insurance is through an American Family policy.

I don't round the corners on my countertops, I don't place the matches on the top shelf where they are out of reach of children, and I don't warn them about the dangers of microwaving children.I'm pretty sure every American has heard about hand washing a thousand times over by now.
