I find Edmonton to be unique in that there seems to be a niche market for high-end properties around the university as the hospital and LRT station are on the same campus.I don't believe there is a substitute for knowing your target market or working with a partner that does.Do you have any plans to move back to Canada in the near future?

Basically this HELOC is like a credit card, and if you pay it down they will actually give you a literal credit card that you can swipe at the gas station if you want to secure your car gas bill by your home.

I'm interested in investing in a rental income single family home or multi family property around one of the train stations in hope that rents will appreciate in the future as Seattle continues to get more expensive and traffic gets worse.  

In an attempt to give you a better sense of who I am:I have a mortgage on a single family residential that I live out of.I have a mortgage I am paying on two gas stations.I would prefer to find an investment that is a gas station. 

I have lived in the argyle area for about 7 years and have owned my home for 4, this area is a few minutes away from the naval station, west if you're looking at a map.

One of my three rentals is 3beds, 2 baths in a "mixed income" area, some crime, but convenient to the metro train station.

Hello all,I have been using my VA loan to "house hack" each duty station I have been in and have two current VA loans with one scheduled to close on my selling on the 14th of December. 

I will say that the closest train station to them will be at Church Ranch and 36 (unless there is a map I'm not seeing), but even that is just a few miles which isn't bad.
