Looking to find which aspects I like best.  

It is a good community to network and learn about all aspects of real-estate investing.

Whether it be multifamily, single-family, fix and flips, etc, plenty of resources in BP, and there seems to be a podcast for every aspect of real estate now as well.

Still looking for my first property, so I'm absorbing as much information as possible, preparing myself as much as I can before I get the first-hand experience, and the lessons that come with.More importantly, I'm really looking to network, and meet people in all aspects of real estate in different markets.

They have roof problems on one of the buildings and several of the units were vacant because of the leaky roof.

Needs roofing repairs/paint/sheetrock/flooring work. 

I did everything from roof to hvac.so this inherited tenant is now complaining bc she is the only one with radiator heat. only thing I did for her is minor repairs and she benefitted from communal renov. she had financial difficulties, she is now only 1 month behind. but pays monthly.if she paid 900-1000.

In May 2013, a tornado came close to both properties and resulted in damage resulting in two claims (nothing as major as you think - just re-shingled roofs.
