Someone with a retail mindset would look at this quite differently, no doubt.

Higher rents seem to be directly correlated with the nicer school districts, both in Dayton and Cincinnati, and you can find reasonably priced Real Estate in any of the towns as long as you aren't buying at retail price.

I still have my full time job as a manager at a major retailer.

While I stay current on what's available retail I also comb the county tax and foreclosure auction sites.  

@Cyrus Kouandjio i would suggest learning as much as you can about the industry and seriously educating your self on the area that you intend to target.

As the high-tech industry grew, my career opportunities and income grew as well.
