I will admit I lived for $500/mo in Rancho Cordova in a furnished bedroom in a lady’s twin house (2/1) (it was a side by side but she didn’t own both sides) after I graduated from Berkeley as an engineer and it was awesome to save money and travel as a 24 year old.

With this in mind can anyone recommend a structural engineer (i guess this is the profession who would take care of this), to advise / consult on a solution, preferably based in West side of town (Katy area).
