Hi BP Fam!

I’m diving into the deep, no turning back!

Also, what is your top book recommendation for the nitty-gritty of multi-family investing? While we’re here, one word of advice in getting started in multi-family?

I truly value your opinion, knowledge and wisdom and I look forward to the day I can share my wisdom with newbies like myself.

Kristen

@Kristen Coffie

I don’t have a lender contact in that area, but this is probably a good place to start. We utilize quite a few different lenders here in Oregon. Each one kind of has a specialty. Agency debt is always great, but the property has to be in good shape and performing quite well. Generally when trying to add value the properties that we buy are not in that condition yet, which may be why they are up for sale too. Talk to a lot of different lenders and find out what they are specializing.

As far as books so many good ones out there. I’ve been recommending Brian Burke’s the hands off investor. Great way to reverse engineer how to be a good investor in multifamily.

I listen to a lot of podcasts:

Michael blank apartment syndication

Joe fairless - best real estate advice ever

Whitney Sewell

Real estate guys radio show

Jake and geno wheel barrel profits

Old capital

Best of luck!
