In PA, the electricity bill follows the consumer of the electricity.Other utilities vary all over the state, but the one thing in general is that if the utility is a municipality supplied utility, it is lienable to the property.

I even called the Florida Division of Consumer finance and am still not exactly clear on compliance (I will be making some attorney calls next), but...From what I can decipher, having an attorney/MLO draw up the paperwork and close on the loan seems to be the simple answer.

If you do not you can raise food prices some but maybe not an amount the consumer will pay to keep your same profit margin.Most utilities are separated out except for water in older buildings.
