I want to make you aware that when you decide to buy cheap properties in the worst parts of town, you are getting the worst of the worst of a struggling city.Before Marcus kills me, I also want to say this is a great place to live (if you can deal with the weather).

I live in a college town and while doing rent comps I noticed that the apartments here rent per room in each unit for the students.

I'd buy because 1) I have roots other than real estate laid down here and I'm very unlikely to move, 2) I know inflation's built into the monetary system and makes the principal and interest portion of the payment become smaller and smaller in real dollar terms, and 3) I think Orlando will outpace other markets.
