After speaking with a real estate attorney, they had recommended transferring ownership of the property from the land trust into an LLC and dissolving the land trust.

Tell the current PMC to transfer the SD to the new PMC, that way they have a record of handing it off to a licensee (assuming PMCs are required to be licensed in your state) and are covered in case of a Real Estate Commission inquiry.

This has been a real mess for them.If it was one of my properties it would have never gotten this far.             

Someone experienced and seasoned, who can hear my plans and goals and give their take on how to reach them, or offer new ideas.
