It's easier to give directions if I know where you currently are, where you are trying to go, and what mode of transportation you are using (feet, bicycle, car, public transportation, etc.)

I find that there are too many areas that are grey areas for luxury buyers that require transportation to the city.

So trying to rethink the strategy and buy a 2 or 3 bedroom SFH or a condo (if I find a rare HOA that allows STRs) within Boston/Cambridge urban areas and doing a short term rental in additional rooms.

Hello,I was looking to buy a apartment downtown Boston and rent it on Airbnb.Do you think it would be a good investment even though a nice apartment downtown Boston is around 600 thousand ?

If you can get creative and make an area like Nanaimo work, I think it will be more beneficial in the long run especially if you can buy in the path of gentrification or transportation (South end of Nanaimo towards airport).

We were staying in Revere Beach, just outside of Boston.
