Going to newer homes in better locations and letting someone else deal with an aging asset is a much better plan, especially as you reset your tax depreciation and learn to do cost segregation!

As mentioned above, Denver can be a challenging market to get started investing into multifamily homes.

I have my story, the struggle, and the journey from when I was a poor kid growing up, then when I began investing from the age of  22 or so to today at 31 years old where I have attained what in my perspective is success through real estate which impacts several categories of my life.  

I am glad you mention the price and days on the market.

I haven't given up, but I will tryout the list you mentioned..

I recently considered a service that basically does what you mention specifically as "corporate housing" with companies, but never went further into it as I ended up renting the unit out to some normal folks.

Also, like @Matt Garboden mentioned, the outer portions of the city still have quite a bit of deals.

Where you are looking in Dublin (not sure if that is but that's what you mentioned), duplexes are going for over $200k and three units depend based on square footage.

I don't recall mentioning that I would engage in short sale fraud :) Short sales usually go thru best offer situation and they are posted on MLS anyway.
