Looking for a mentor out of NY

Hi BP, I'm starting my wholesale investing. I've been studying up for months now it's time to actually get out there and make moves. I managed to get 2 cash buyers from personal relationships. I ordered some bandit signs. Just waiting for them to get here. What I feel I need is a mentor that's based out of NY to bounce ideas from and soak up some knowledge. Kind of guide me through certain aspects of this RE game. Preferably someone based out of NYC. But willing to learn from anyone with experience. Thanks.

@Taron Jackson Don't stop reaching out to those who haven't answered. Pretty much every experienced wholesaler on BP will tell you that persistently sending letters/postcards is one of the main differences between successful wholesalers and those who quit. You typically won't start seeing significant response rates until after your 3rd or 4th round of mailers.

I like the public record route because not many people use those tools in their favor. However, its more time consuming than purchasing a list (Queens county clerks office has a computer system for Lis Pendens that looks like it hasn't been updated since the 90's). Check out sites like list source and click2mail to see if purchasing a list makes sense for your business.

Feel free to hit me up with any questions along the way.

Best of luck to you!
