Books and podcasts are great (Todd Baldwin's BP episode is really great on house-hacking).

This is my "formula" for getting started:1) Start with the BP podcast episode 1 and listen to one a day.2) Pick a book from the BP bookstore.

I started with the podcast and after a few episodes knew that BP was going to be a great resource.

If you want to be a landlord, spend some time listening to the podcasts featuring landlords, like Serge Shukhat's episode 60 and 131. 

I believe they announced your job posting on a bigger pockets podcast episode if I'm not mistaken?
