As everyone on this site will tell you screening is key.

Sadly, some people on here (as with any online site), either want to puff up their reputation by answering questions, but don't necessarily have the full information, understand our local markets here, etc.

What are good resources to find properties?

I haven't given up on it though.I would suggest stopping in one of the new construction sites and start asking questions.

It is a horrible feeling to post a question or comment and not get a single response; especially if you are new to the site.  

I am currently investing in Cape May and Atlantic county.There are tons of ways to get involved and surround yourself with other investors that are doing it and doing it well.Kurt Kwart is an amazing resource that hosts investor panels as well.

There are a bunch of resources on here to learn and feel confident when you are ready to start investing.  

I have read and own over a dozen books on real estate investing, spent countless hours on BP and other REI sites and I am actively looking to purchase a multi unit investment property.
