When I was in the process of buying the house my home inspector noted that the electric service to the house is only 60 amps, and should be upgraded to a minimum of 100 amps.I got a quote from a contractor for installing new service cable, breaker box, and ground rod for $1,900.

I'm sure the bank is constrained by privacy protection regulations, other compliance issues, and customer service reps who know and can only work in a certain "box" that does not include the situations investors like you and I face.One situation was a flip for me.

@Paul Alberry I had a Tenant call a couple of months ago when she claimed another Tenant walked in on her using a key.I called his wife first to try and intervene because the Tenant said she was calling the cops.Then I installed new locks, placed the new keys in a coded lock box and charged $20/lock.

I suspect that you will find that the complex was equipped with Federal Pacific breaker boxes and aluminum wiring...How much per unit are you considering paying for this "down to the studs" complex?
