Advice Needed!

Hello everyone, I am a 19 year old college student home for the summer and extremely driven to build my wealth and I firmly believe that REI is the best way to achieve this. However, after watching and listening to hundreds of hours of content on here and YouTube, I am still unsure about whether I have the knowledge required to start making deals. I am essentially starting from nothing; although my family is fairly well off, I want nothing to do with their money and aspire to earn my own. I intend to dedicate every waking second to REI until I leave for school in about 7 weeks, do you guys have any suggestions for the best way to go about this?

I contacted a realtor in my local area (Sacramento, CA) about mentoring me, but it appears as though he just wants me to bird-dog for him. I have also been involved with Renatus by attending many of their free meetings but don't want to get caught up in buying their program if I don't need to, as the MLM aspect of the company is definitely a disincentive for me. However, it is a great network to have, seeing as I am starting from nothing in terms of networking or capital.

Any advice on which way I should go with us? Any help would be much appreciated!
