If not look at areas that are still 5-10 away from getting better such as the Eastside or deep in the westside. 2) Maybe check out how SB is responding to SB9/10 and find a property that would benefit from that(perhaps on the 154 with more space).3) Start talking to neighbors of friends who may know of an older couple that is looking to retire soon and offer a make them move price.

The other issues are liability, if there is a fire/safety issue/problem tenants/noise complaints/etc. and the people you have renting out those spaces or your neighbors, find out they are not permitted, they have you by the balls.

I mean, it's such a small space, not sure if walk in closet is the best use of the space.My current idea:- Take out the Walk in closet and the TV cabinet and In wall heater to create a bigger space for a full size bed.

@Sahil Parmar in vacation rental space you can see 2% plus average months if it’s run well (most are not run well) I have properties in California that do over 2% on average even at current market value.

I am in the process of closing on a duplex and I am reviewing the home Appraisals and notice that living space square footage is 1809 sqft and not 2263 sqft as listed (454 sqft less).
