Plenty of room for outside storage/truck parking.If you use a submetering company you only have to install 1 meter from each utility company. 

Others will mention laundry mats, or self storage.  

As long as the property has a fresh coat of paint, that's what most renters and buyers care about. 

if a rental, I would get it ready to rent with Fresh paint, replaced pickets, and spotless carpet even if you need to replace.  

I tell my tenants that the locks are freshly rekeyed and for a few bucks I have the peace of mind having done my due diligence.

Insurance for storage should not be prohibitive.
