How uncommon is it to have little or no money for a down payment? 

It is not uncommon for us to list properties for $1500 per month.

A lot of areas do actually release the delinquent list that goes up for tax sale in the newspaper, that is not uncommon.

It’s not uncommon to lease commercial property to a business entity. 

These people are a varied as the rest of us, to be sure, but it is not uncommon to see these houses full of people who are working 12 hours a day and sleeping most of the rest. 

It's not uncommon for some tenants to sacrifice their security deposit by not paying their last month so they may use their money for the next property's security deposit. 

This response is not uncommon, as most STR operators view their numbers as the "secret sauce" of the business, therefore they want to make it as "unaccessible" to the passerby as possible.  

Being built in the 1890's means that ALL systems in the home have surpassed a useful lifespan and it's not uncommon to see some of these historic homes still hanging onto their "firsts", especially in windows, gas lines, HVAC ducting (which would have been added much later than the original construction date), etc. 

That being said, it's not uncommon for auctioneers to ask for an up front EMD after you've won the bid.
