Looking for a general contractor for a single family home to install flooring throughout the house as well as painting and work on tile and tub in bathroom.

After re-reading your first post, there definitely are drop ceiling tiles in most of the basement which I didn't measure past. 

I'd leave the floors but if you hate them just float a floor over them.other ceiling options would be tin tiles depending on size. or gluing wood inserts to the mirrors and paint those.

The odd part is that the room entry is right off the front entryway where there's a tiled landing.

Vinyl flooring or tile?

If you are doing tile, use the same method by calling your local Florida Tile or Emser Tile showroom for tile installers.  

Bathroom remodels are 5k - my typical 8k with tile surrounds instead of whole unit inlays.

The majority of the house has ceiling tiles that need to go.

I assisted my friend earlier this year and he only spent $8,000-$10,000 total on the home and replacing the sink, toilets, tubs and kitchen and bathroom tiles as well as other minor repairs.
