Looking to meet Investors in Columbus!

Hello All, I've been looking into purchasing property in the Columbus area and just wanted to meet up with people who have experience in house fixing and flipping and/or rental properties. I've been a Mortgage Underwriter for 8 years and looking to transition into investing! I've recently assisted a friend of mine in rehabbing a home he purchased from the city Land Bank he is currently occupying and think I want to flip those first. Mostly because they are between $2k-$10k in areas that has been getting offers from larger companies that want to purchase the land. What are your thoughts on this? Any advice is welcome! Also should I consider getting a Real Estate license for Ohio although I solely want to invest?

Just do as much due diligence as possible. The counties surrounding Franklin are starting to get into the landbank deal as well. I've been looking at properties they are proposing to be used in their countywide landbanks and from what I can tell some would make great deals, others would be disasters for new investors.
