And I don't see places where people don't feel there kids are safe to ride their bikes around as good long term investments.

I have towed many cars off my properties and had to keep tow drivers safe while they do their service.There has been a nice lull for a bit.

(I'm not an electrician so I rely on others for this info) I'd ask the electrician to look at the appliances in your unit to make sure the electrical supplies from the new box to the unit will be safe.
