For the past month or so I've been fully immersed in real estate investing education - books, REI groups, seminars, etc.  

Know of any meetings or auctions I could attend just to get immersed?  

If we already have a forum post, article, or podcast on this specific topic, that would be great.All that said, even if doesn't turn out positively, I still wonder whether I should take the opportunity to turn this "First Home Buyer Purchase" into a Flip.On the one hand, I think this is an excellent opportunity to immerse myself into REI.

I am now pretty immersed in reading or listening to anything I can on real estate investment topics.

You also don't get the immersion in markets, connections to others, if you are not an agent, so you have to go create those relationships pretty much on your own (which is possible of course).  

I am overall interested in learning more about long-term rentals, buying my first property, and (most importantly) finding other local RE investors to network with.Looking forward to immersing myself in this community and meeting other likeminded individuals!

I am truly passionate about this industry and cannot wait to fully immerse myself!

I'm not talking about the ones that are basically power point slides with some pictures, I'm talking about actual virtual like tours that uses 360 panoramic photos to give the user a sense of immersion.

welcome,, to the myrarebird  meet ups once a month. also BP is having a meet up on the 12th.JR Hinds I think is orgonizing it and he would be a great contact for you as well.then consider seriously getting your RE license and get in the game... you can make good money while your immersed in the actual industry.If its multi family you want to do.. then work for a commercial brokerage and work your way up.by the time your 35 you will probably be knocking down 500k a year or more in commissions plus will own property...
