I do just plain white or I use white loose leaf paper with a blue handwriting font.

. - Reason why this fails in our industry is because its not done properly, I have the copy professionally written, and well designed & layed out by a graphic deisgner.Also I do not just postcards but as well as letters with handwritten envelopes. It allows for the black font to pop off the paper much better and is less overwhelming than say a red.
