In addition to being new to RE, I live and work in Asia so I will have to rely heavily on a property manager.

I had another investor mention it to me before, I was thinking of getting into that in Panama since Asia is so far away.

The value is still proportionally the same because all other prices have gone up too (think 80 Billion dollar loaf of bread), but now our trips to Europe, Asia, South America, and even Africa have gotten a lot more expensive. 

I am confident that there are good deals to be made across multiple cities in the US as long as you have the right resources (especially people) to give you the right information.As a result, most of our inquiries that we see pass through our platform are from investors in Asia who have never been in the US but they are doing a lot of research and due diligence.  

I have been able to buy 13 locations like this in the US and 3 in Asia and Africa.
