I chose Keller Williams because of their mentoring / coaching, teamwork, huge network, capped commission, residential and commercial focus options, and the outlook that you are building your own business and it can look like whatever you want it to be based on your life goals.

I don't think my strategy was to be my own gentrification machine; more important to me was that I bought houses in the geographic area I thought had the best long-term outlook, combined with ease of self-management and homes that fit my preferred tenant base.

And that’s just the stuff pertaining directly to real estate.So, I’d love to continue investing in BRRRR’s or flip houses when/if I move to Houston, but wonder if it’s a good market for those forms of investing or if I should start changing my investing outlook.
