Hi BP community, I was wondering if anyone could advise me on how critical is it for a property to be inspected prior to closing that requires complete renovation regardless (the property is a complete shell and currently not even close to living condition).

Which may bring up a question from the IRS about where your prior year returns are, if they don't exist.I am not saying you are or are not compliant with your US tax filings - that's totally your business. 

Prior to the property appraisal being done, they told me the maximum amount I would be able to get.

Anytime you will be filling vacant spaces or selling POHs, the most important task to perform prior to acquiring a park is a thorough market demand study.

The seller was ready to move and given the inspections from a prior buyer that had fallen out of escrow, we were able to get it in contract under list price.
