I spent too many years reading....

So I ask you, friends: if you were looking to get started and had an opportunity to sit down with a seasoned vet who has spent decades in this industry, what questions would you ask?

Making solid relationships and being willing to think outside of the box and open to different ways of doing business is how I got my start.  

It's amazing how much one can save on the water bill alone just by replacing the toilets with a new water saving one, which can cost as low as $30 from the big box stores.

It hurts to have already spent $4,000ish in closing costs and then come back and pay it again now that the 6 month seasoning period is up.  

The electrician simply ran a dedicated 20a line from the breaker box to each of the bedrooms and the living room.

She has spent 35 years in foster care and is looking to provide a stable environment and be a supportive adult for children in the foster care system, as well as at risk teens.In the past 4 years she has had 20 foster children in her home, with four of them staying for more than 2 years.

I mentioned this in another post today, but last year I spent 30 hours total on all of my places (not including ones that were being rehabbed, only those that were rented), and 25 of that was on one home's bathroom.

I spent 4 years on active duty in Georgia. 

The listing agent is also very motivated based on the amount of time spent working this property knowing that their hard work may not pay off literally.
