My question is can I cut the lower panel or door on the front of the furnace where the intake fan is weld a great in and place for a filter then cut a hole in the closet door for air from my condo to supply intake of furnace thereby eliminating the void that currently draws all the smoke in.

Interior looks to be in good shape as well, but looks like it hasn't been updated since it was built (wood panel walls, old carpet, old cabinets...etc.)

First and foremost, it was remedied quickly by the GC which he verified by sending me a picture and his check was in the mail that day.A little back story for those interested, it was electrical work being done (upgrade service, newer bigger panel, and direct lines/dedicated circuits to upstairs bedrooms) The 'thing' sticking out was a drill bit that came up from the basement when the electrical subs were prodding to see where the floor was vs.

I do not believe any ethics panel would find you in violation of the law nor the code of ethics for doing so if the end result is getting your seller a higher price.

The house is in decent shape New Furnace New water heater New carpet in main living area New electric service panel and from the mast There is some knob and tube but a lot of it has been re-done guess I'm just a bit iffy on moving forward with this since the house is so old.
