You want to check out every unit top to bottom to get a reasonable idea of how much deferred maintenance/repairs there are and what that's going to cost you right up front.If it's an older property, it may be worth while to have the sewer scoped.Check all of the water shut off valves, in the units and the shut offs TO the units.

The space under the window that has the wood panels I would match with the same vinyl siding that's on the top side of the house for new trim, but use a narrow row siding..Windows could use some grids would make it more defined.trim the center shrubs down at least 2 feet so they are even with the glass at bottom of windows. the brick looks crisp and clean don't paint your brick..
