I'm looking to meet with people in the Buda area who want to discuss real estate or even better would be an experienced mentor.  

I was hoping I could find an experienced wholesaler in the area who would have the time who would be willing to work with me and help me out.

I am a part of an expansive team in Tampa that specializes in buying, selling and rehabbing off-market properties both in the Tampa area and the state of Florida.

Building my team of knowledgeable individuals who will assist me in this learning transaction is key.

, so while it is nice to be boots on the ground, it isn't always necessary as long as you are investing in quality properties (ie not low-tier C/D /distressed properties which really do require that you be hands-on) and have a team you trust.

I'd love to have more experienced investors to go to for guidance.

You don't need a license to be successful, and most investors aren't licensed, but you do need someone on your team who is.
