They don't care, as long as there is grass for their pets to go in.

The average length of stay is 3 to 4 nights, mostly long weekends in the summer months making the 7-night rule a non-issue. 

I don’t have any experience doing this personally, but I’m on Long Island and this is exactly what the couple who owns the property that my girl lives in does.They bought a home, lived in the home while they renovated it, added a basement unit and rented it out.

The property will be rented out a mix of short, mid & long term rentals. 

She is asking if she is out by the 1st of September if I can accept the deposit as the current months(last month) rent payment.  

But clearly the owner just doesn't care because nothing has been done about it for a very long time, I really don't understand why.

Only B/B+ or A I last spoke to them about a month - a month and a half ago and they said they did service my area. 

My wife an I try to focus our long term rentals in towns within a 30 - 45 minute drive to Raleigh.

This is evident already in the 32,000 square-foot Lego Discovery Center built last August, the coming Build-a-Bear to the mall, and community events PREIT has organized such as Taste of Springfield, and Cherry Blossom Festivals.
