Unfortunately we're going to have to replace the cabinets on this one, so waiting for those will be the longest part of the job. 

I plan to salvage the fridge, update to stainless steel and update everything with white shaker cabinets and a tier one quarts or granite. 

Was the place gutted and everything new, or was it new cabinets, appliances and paint?

I also wanted to remove a the heating at the bottom of the dining room so I can put cabinets there.

I contracted a builder to remove an old chimney with no attached fireplace, cut back a counter and some cabinets, and open the entryway between the dining room and kitchen to free up space for a refrigerator and better access to the kitchen.

Thursday- company that I hired managed to go in and removed effected cabinets and flooring.

Would you recommend a contractor who can rebuild cabinets and flooring in San Antonio area?

It was in bad shape with cat feces everywhere and had to completely gut the house (except kitchen cabinets were new), converted a loft to another bedroom and renovated to new.

The kitchen provides ceramic tile flooring, black appliances, and plenty of cabinet/counter space.
