I would like to trade my plumbing skills. in Exchange, to show me the ropes of investing and flipping my first house.

I volunteered at the Habitat for Humanity to get shorten my learning curve with construction, I was wondering if there are people/organizations that I could be affiliated with that would be able to offer me lots of experience.

Hey Connor, I started out as a small time investor here in Wichita, and eventually got my real estate license which organically turned into a real estate team...that is always evolving. 

The actual skills needed to perform a job come from doing said job day after day, therefore a college degree proves more than skills to a potential employer.

I'm currently in the process of organizing all my financial docs to email to the bank.

Do you have any tangible or intangible skills that you can offer a team, like marketing, hustle, charisma, etc.?

We had our prequalified letter together and our agent submitted our offer so well and organized that we were the 6th offer and not the highest but got the acceptance. 

It’s not exactly Fall River but depending on where you land and your tolerance for driving, it may not be far for you and worth checking out too.As far as networking, I always recommend that folks try to find a few others who are approximately the same level of experience and go out for coffee with them and build up relationships organically over time.

i.e. people person vs numbers person, Meyers Briggs, etc.The people that do well in stocks tend to be highly educated, decades long stamina, world class numbers and analytical skills, readers not talkers, life long learners that can connect many global dots together into a strategy.But most run on emotions and that's why the only winner this week was JPM/GS on the VIX.Now if you meant trading, things get worse, as 90% or more fail...If you can't handle high amounts of risk, stress, losses, etc.stick to real estate or hire a world class broker that has your back.If you still want to invest, I would recommend going short NOT LONG until we hit bottom!!!
