Hello Everyone,Brand new to BiggerPockets and REI in general but very eager to meet like minded people and am hungry to learn and get into it.

I've also brought a brand new CO2 detector as well as a brand new smoke detector (and a screw driver) with me to the inspection just in case one doesn't work or I need to add another to a specific area to be up to code. 

Normally we have brand new kitchens with quarts countertops and brand new bathrooms with shower tile design. 

The builder has not broken ground yet and they are planning to build 26 4-plexes in a brand new sub-division to be completed 12 months from now.Anyway, my question relates to the purchase contract. 

Why not stay in your own lane (Texas) instead of trying to advise someone half way across the country, and that too someone brand new.. 

I'm brand new to real estate with a broker's license in CA.

I just closed on a BRAND NEW house there for $176K. 

I do not have any experience operating hotels, but I have signed a management agreement with a professional hotel management company that already runs several hotels in my area of the same flagship/brand. 

It would’ve been cheaper to buy a brand new oven than to fix it!

I wouldn't suggest that if rentals nearby have brand new kitchens though.
