Getting Started Alone

I'm brand new to real estate with a broker's license in CA. Any advice on where to even begin? I want to have my own company, but have considered joining a brokerage until I gain some understanding of the sales process and how to gain/manage leads. Also, has anyone considered mentoring or allowed shadowing?  Thanks

Join a big name brokerage and join a team. That's how you learn.  Don't worry about running your own office or brokerage yet.  You gotta learn how to be a top producing agent before you can run a top producing firm.
