I shared that people asked me to teach, that I had never wanted to "coach/mentor".

That person either leave the game (in frustration), or join himself with someone (mentor/partner), who is more experienced in the game.

Hello Everyone,I am new to BP and also to the DFW area, I am looking to network with like minded people, mentors and Realtors in the area that i can network with.

My neighbor ownes 8 duplexes.He's mentoring me through the whole process.Arranged his general contractor to do the work at a "BIG" discount.I will doing some of the work also to gain experience in rehabbing.

I don't have a huge nest egg, but am realistic and expect that it will take a while before I can fully support myself with this new business venture.Also, if anyone in the jax area would be willing to let me shadow them or let me observe a rehab process in action or simply mentor/advise me, I would be more than happy to repay the services somehow.

and I look forward to making new connections and friendships, and maybe even finding a mentor along the way.

I hope that BiggerPockets can help me meet others with the same goals, maybe find a mentor, and continue my learning.
