I am still in the industry but I am looking to relieve some of the financial strain this industry places on my family.

After watching some online-course video clips at BP, I realized learning from a big map is the best start for me to learn something brand new, rather than digging holes on every single aspect.I'm glad that I've found BiggerPockets, a great platform and opportunity for RE investors from all over the world to share, learn, and network online, especially someone new in the industry like me who is shy and doesn't feel comfortable to actively approach "strangers" in reality due to the personality.If there's anybody here from Canada as well, I will be more than happy to connect with you.

There is a lot of hype around this industry but it has the potential to address some market needs, namely an alternative to hard money lending and access to direct property investments at more modest exposure.

( Ads, website, craigslist ) Does your contract require an exclusivity clause for the listing?

But because so few beginners can, there is a whole industry devoted to getting you to sign up for no-money-down access to rivers of magical dollars. $1000+ fees later, they usually still hold all the cards and can refuse to fund deals that they don't like the look of or if they don't have the funds from your end Buyer in escrow! 

I found out that there are a ton of ways to sell in this industry. 

I grew up in the industry... my dad had multiple brokerages and I have had 3 myself. unless you get to 300 to 500 agents as a broker there is not a lot of money in it and any agent that cause issues if they are not a top producer and bringing you income they are let go without cause or loss of sleep..

Just completed my LLC setup and really excited about the industry and about joining Biggerpockets.
