My name is Michael, and I am in Humble, Texas.  I'm just starting to do my research into investing.  I am a 49 year old layed-off oil & gas person that is tired of being someone else's pawn.  Actually, I'm taking my real estate classes this week to get licensed (5/31/16).

@Michael Dyer I feel your frustration. I have been laid off twice in the past couple of years due to P&w market decline. I am still in the industry but I am looking to relieve some of the financial strain this industry places on my family. Welcome to the BP community!
