When times are good, I’ve always found it was more than worthwhile to give myself a little space for a day when storm clouds started to gather far in the distance.

They make all their money by taking a cut from hosts or charging guests.

Facebook groups, IG, local REIAs (there are a lot who have hosted meetups virtually throughout the pandemic) are a great source of info and connections.

As others have said, get your head out of the clouds, buy something and then let discuss.

You need protection against unforeseen title clouds or old liens. 

The Memo shows that an option exists and clouds the title so the owner can't option or sell it to anyone else during the term.
