It's great if you need to get a message to a tenant but don't want to get stuck listening to a tenant for twenty minutes about how tough the economy/job market/baby momma problems are

Our tenant has put furniture on the front porch, hooked up a TV (fire hazard) and nailed shutters up to act as baby gates.

Just remember, Rome wasn’t built in a day so take baby steps.

(The RE agent in FL does some light PM work for "free").The Brooklyn one is my first, my "baby," so I wanted to do it myself for the experience and because I've heard horror stories about PMs, plus NYC PMs for small owners tended to be pretty pricey with not great reviews.

In the tenants head I'm thinking "they take baths, I don't" or "He has a baby pool in the yard, I'm not paying for that" Essentially I have the same question for sanitation.

For us it has been baby steps to our future and overtime it has added up and done well.We got started at 23!

I agree with Gail , there is a lot of baby momma drama and attendant hi-jinx and mutual shenanigans that have nothing to do with effectively removing the tenant.Its odd your even mentioning all these non-Relevant sideshow issues.

I have a wife and newborn currently so uprooting my family too often is not my main goal.  

They have a 2 month old baby which the local exterminator recommends 24 hours off the premises after treatment.
